How is Freshman different from a normal body wash?
Most body wash works by fragrance: it lays a scent over the top and fades through the day. Freshman works the other way round. It targets the odour-causing bacteria on your skin, so odour does not get the chance to form. You are not masking a smell, you are removing the reason it appears.
Does it really last all day?
That is the whole point. Because Freshman targets the cause rather than covering it, one shower in the morning carries you through work, the gym and the commute home, without reapplying or showering again.
What does it smell like?
Light, clean and restrained. It is a considered scent, not a perfume, the kind you notice up close rather than across a room. It clears as it rinses, leaving skin smelling of nothing in particular, which is rather the idea.
Is it harsh? Will it dry out my skin?
No. The formula is microbiome-friendly and sulphate-free, balanced to work with your skin rather than strip it. It is gentle enough for daily use, morning and night.
Is it only for men?
It is formulated with men in mind, but body odour is not fussy about who it visits and neither is the formula. Anyone can use it. The name is about a fresh start, getting something right after years of it being wrong, not about who it is for.
What is in it?
A short, considered ingredient list built around an active that targets odour-causing bacteria, with a microbiome-friendly, sulphate-free base. The final formulation is being confirmed and the full INCI list will appear on the product page and the pack before launch.
When does it launch, and how much is it?
Freshman is pre-launch. It will be £15 for a 250ml pack, though pricing is not yet final. Join the waitlist and you will be the first to know the launch date, with early access before anyone else.
Can I buy it now?
Not quite yet. Right now you can join the waitlist. The shop opens at launch, and people on the list get first access.
